Call for Papers

Special Issue on Liquidity Analysis
The International Review of Applied Financial Issues and Economics invites manuscripts for a Special Issue on liquidity analysis, scheduled for publication in 2012. We are interested in empirical and quantitative papers relevant to this topic. The topics include but are not limited to:

Liquidity risk management

Liquidity and financial contagion

Market liquidity and financial stability

Trading Activity and Market Liquidity

Market liquidity under stress

Market liquidity and banking liquidity

Quantifying liquidity risk

Commonality in liquidity

The Impact of Informed Trading on Corporate Liquidity

Market Liquidity and the Cost of Raising Capital

The Impact of Informed Trading on Corporate Liquidity

Market Liquidity and the Cost of Raising Capital

Asset Pricing with Liquidity Risk

Liquidity and Idiosyncratic Risk

Theoretical and empirical research submitted to the IRAFIE should be original in both its content and structure.

Note: When submitting a paper, please include separately (1) the title page with an abstract and names of authors/affiliations and (2) the manuscript with names of authors/affiliations, as well as contact information for the submitting author.
We encourage you to submit your best paper for this Special Issue. All submitted papers must be accompanied by an abstract of at least 200 words, but no more than 300 words.

There is no submission fee for regular manuscript review. However, we provide an expedited review process. This process is intended to give faculty going for tenure and/or promotion a quick response regarding the possibility of publishing their paper. The fee is Euros 200 and the initial review process will be completed in three weeks on average. Manuscripts and all editorial correspondence should be addressed to Editor in Chief, International Review of Applied Financial Issues and Economics.
